GMC’s full-size SUV is slowly becoming equal to the Cadillac Escalade. The amazing vehicle is large and powerful enough to compete with the iconic nameplate but needs just a little bit more premium touch to reach the same level. The Denali trim is the topping of course, but in case you want more exclusivity, you can look for the all-new 2018 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate Black Edition, which has been introduced at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The limited edition is basically just the updated version of the current Denali trim. It uses the same 6.2-liter V8 engine capable of delivering 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The mill is paired with a 10-speed auto gearbox, which delivers the power to two- or all four wheels, depending what the potential buyer want.
The exterior changes are strictly cosmetic. As you can see over there, the 2018 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate Black Edition relies on a perfect combination of black paint and chrome. The SUV comes exclusively in the black of course, but the color reaches some unexpected part. For instance, there are quite interesting 22-inch wheels with black accents and chrome side-view mirrors. The only changes around back are polished exhaust tips, but they look so good, that there is no reason for anything more.
Inside, the limited edition sports new floormats, and that’s basically everything regarding the cab styling. However, SUV does have a more standard technology and some quite useful safety features.
As for the safety kit, it’s better now for the adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking. On the other hand, the convenience incudes GMC’s interesting Open Road package, which gives a sunroof and retractable side steps, as well as a rear-seat entertainment.
The manufacturer hasn’t said how much it’s going to cost this fancy piece of work, but we suppose that the rear-wheel-drive model can’t go below $70,000.
