The 2019 Cadillac Escalade Sport Edition was introduced at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show. Essentially, the impressive full-size SUV didn’t get anything new. Instead, the special edition just looks otherwise than the regular model. More precisely, the vehicle gets black exterior accents that make it somehow more mysterious.
Up front, the 2019 Cadillac Escalade Sport Edition is fitted with gloss black ice chrome grille. The automaker used the same materials for rear fascia, window surrounds, and body side moldings. Also, the interesting SUV rides on 22-inch Midnight Silver wheels, and that’s pretty much everything you can expect from the special edition.
Yes, the interior is totally carried over, so you are going to find a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, heated leather steering wheel, heated and cooled front seats inside of the SUV. Under the hood, the car continues to exploit the familiar 6.2-liter V-8 engine that pumps out 420 horsepower. Buyers will be able to choose between the rear and four-wheel drive. Of course, the system is coupled with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Cadillac will offer the 2019 Escalade Sport Edition in three trim levels: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Platinum. They’ve set the base price already. According to the automaker, you will have to set out $84,790, including destination. The model will become available next spring.
