Ford is definitely making a coupe-SUV for Europe. The vehicle has been spied testing for the first time a few hours ago, and I have that spy shots right here. The automaker hasn’t decided how to call the all-new crossover, so, at the moment, it has been named the Ford Fiesta SUV. How come? Well, the future model will be based on the compact. Ring a bell? Yes, Blue Oval has two of the kind already, but neither of them is coupe-looking isn’t it? Moreover, while the EcoSport deserves to be called an SUV, I can’t really say that for the Fiesta Active. So far, the prototype reveals its basic
Of course, the coupe-SUV will ride on a same platform as the Fiesta. The supermini will also borrow its engines to the crossover, although I don’t exclude some plug-in hybrid or even electric powertrain among options.
Since the automaker intends to fight against the Nissan Juke, Seat Arona, Mazda CX-3, Hyundai Kona, and Kia
I can’t really know when and where this still unnamed coupe-SUV is going to be introduced. However, according to the latest reports, Blue Oval’s newcomer will make appearance in early 2020.
